im getting new rims that need 2 be painted can any1 tell me the actual paint code for acura type r kaiser silver, i called acura and they said they dont have it. just the paint name

 

The paint code for Kaiser Silver (a color used on the '97-99 NSX) is NH-546M.

However, I think a better match for the gunmetal color of the wheels on the '00-01 ITR is Solaris Silver, paint code NH-536M. The two colors are pretty similar, though.

Touch up paint should be available at your dealer for both colors.

well i got them and this is how they looked when i started


this is the paint code i went with, i paid 20 bucks a can to have the code plus stage 1 paint and clear charged to the spray can, and i stripped the black rims with a gallon of aircraft stripper, and booya. good as new.


when i get them on the car i will take more pics, i plan on doing my rsx rims the same color, so i will keep u posted

 

did you use one whole can for one rim? also, i do not know if you've done this before, but will the paint scratch off when mounting tires?
