h22a4 recalls?
what recalls if any are the for a 97lude motor(h22a4) and is the recall still good if the motor is out of the car my car.. so far i know of these.. the balancer shaft seals as well as the auto-tensioner
I really doubt honda would cover anything if the engine is out of the car. I think part of the recall is that the item has to be service by a honda certified mechanic and i really doubt honda would do any work on your engine if you just went and dropped it off.

for that tensioner, id replace it now. i recommend doing the manual conversion. i had 2 auto tensioners go out on me. i got lucky both times. my belt slipped, car stalled, but no bent valves or anything. comp test showed numbers as strong as the day i got the motor.
