OT: Does older CRX model suspension interchange with the ITR suspension?

OT: Does older CRX model suspension interchange with the ITR suspension?
The reason Im asking is because I have a set of gc's w/ koni yellows coilover setup and I heard that an older CRX can use this setup w/out the ITR LCA's. Is this true? I already tried the search button so dont suggest that please. Thanks for all replies.
