How would I do in 1/4 mile?
I never ran 1/4 mile because I am afraid that I might embarrass myself. Anyhow, my co-worker brought his 95 sleeper Civic with H22A to work today. This car was done by Charles, before he left Pitcrew, and dynoed at about 215-220 to wheel. So, knowing that his car can run a really low 13s at Pomona, I asked him to stage up his car against mine. We went to a industrial road around my work, at 7:00am of course. We ran three times. At what seem to be a 1/4 mile mark, he was at least 3 car in front of me. Now, knowing that I can do low 15s all day long, I am just wondering if I can break 14s. Then we stage his sleeper against my brother 99 Si w/ CAI, HE, and Exhaust. After the first run my brother say let's go back to work because it was not pretty at all. All in a good half an hour and we went back to work. Well, another boring day at the office and tons of AutoCad to do.

Thanks for the encouragement. I don't mind going to the track but there are always tons of people at Pomona. Last week I went there before heading to the RC car race, there were long line at 7:30AM. Damn! I don't mind going but just don't like to wait in line. Maybe I will try LACR.
Waiting is a part of racing. All the tracks in the entire country are crowded these days.
A Civic with an H22 swap is a formidable opponent to a stock or near-stock ITR. That's a big motor for a little car.
