Built GSR Golden Eagle Block... Built ITR Head *PICS*
This block was in good running condition, i didnt even know that i had bad pistons because it wasnt showing any signs of being bad. It didnt smoke at all and i drove around with it and occasionally boosting and it ran fine. i guess it chipped due to some mild detonation. I just found out when i took my motor out to part it out and noticed those 2 pistons. the head had no damage and the sleeves had no scars at all. i would replace the 2 bad pistons though, just to be safe.

do you have any idea what caused the damage in the first place? I am looking at a few motors that members own on here right now. the only thing I would be worried about with yours is the fact that the sleeves are pretty much maxed out bore wise

might be slight detonation that caused the damage. trust me man, u wont have any problems of cracking these sleeves, something else will go out before these sleeves do. I havent heard one single incident with GE sleeves cracking with these bores or higher.
