Brake Ducts... AGAIN
I was changing my tires, and while I had the car up in the air, I thought I would take a look at possibilities for running ducting to the brakes. Here is what I came up with that would probably require the least amount of modification:
Build a low profile rectangular intake (1-2" tall x ~ 6" wide) and mount it under the chin spoiler directly below where a set of factor fog lights would be mounted. Then, have these rectangluar pieces transition into a 2-2.5" diametr circle, and run the respective circular ducting to the rotors. Additionally, I thought to make it easily removable for street driving - clearance issues. Has anyone else looked at this possibility?

This is what I believe a lot of SCCA racers do, since they're not allowed to add any non-factory openings to the bodywork.
However, the 2-piece backing plate (replacing the splash shield on the fronts) looks to be very .... cool !! hehe
