Default Del Sol parts for a Ek hatch...

I finally picked up the seats...scroll to the bottom!

Besides the seats...what else can I grab off of a newer Del Sol (don't know the exact year yet) that will swap directly to a 2000 Cx hatch? I'm going to check out one this weekend and I might have the cash to grab a few more items. Thanks in advance.

Question: Will seats from a 93' del sol fit into an ek hatch?

most things will fit with little modifications...

i.e. you will need to change your rails over for the seats...

i say buy anything that you want, that looks decent

del sold seats do fit into a EK BODY coupe or hatch you have to swap rails or one of the bolts will not line up, same thing with swapping GSR seats into a 96-00 i have had Del sols type r's and gsr seats in my car and all i swapped rails on becasue one didn't line up

nope, the seats are pretty much the same throughout. And you can put anything onto an EK from the Sol that you could from an EG. They're basically the same car

no all del sol seat brackets and rails are the same all EK brackets and rails are the same and same thing with EG bodys and DC bodys and so on and so forth.

the only thing that changed on Del Sol seats was the patterns and such also some stripes are rarer than others.

Yeah, after 95 (96 and 97) there wasn't a color stripe, and they made the seat fabric a little tougher

obviously you dont know from 1st hand experience, because in EK's one of the holes dont line up. PLEASE dont spead information because you "think" it will work.

seats will not bolt on directly but you have to change both rails. if the outer rail on your ek wont work with the del sol seats what you need to get is the outer railing from an eg due

You could also use the shifter (I believe they are shorter in height from Del Sols - at least the DOHC), wheels, disk brakes if its an upgrade (but you'd need your LCA's), and sway bars I believe as well with the correct LCA's. Also motor if its an improvement.

i did a direct swap on my car, EK rails on del Sol seats.... worked just fine. ANY year del Sol seats will mount up to EK rails and into the EK, the trick is to tighten the seat down to the chassis in this order.

front outside, front inside, rear outside, rear inside.... just start ALL of the bolts, then tighten them down in that order.

when u swap the EK rails onto the del Sol seats, the rails will be closer together, so you'll either have to see if you can get the Sol slider tensioner to fit on, or rebend the EK tensioner. don't put too much tension on the wires though because your slider's teeth won't be able to go all the way in the rail, and this will cause your seat to squirm.

I wasn't saying they would be a direct bolt in, I was saying that the year of the Sol seat wouldn't matter. That's what the post above mine was asking. I know they don't bolt in, but the bolt pattern on the Sol seats did not change during its production

i am

the rear inside hole doesn't line up by half the whole, this can be fixed by my previous methond mentioned, or by dremeling out that whole a bit to fit. i dremeled my driver seat rail and used my other method for my passenger seat, both worked out fine, passenger seat actually seems to have worked out better.
