Pedal covers?
okay, I'll probably get flamed, I don't care.
My stock pedal covers are toast, gas pedal missing, clutch missing, brake has the bottom right corner worn off, and they were slick before anyway. When I was wearing my boots and it was wet it was impossable to drive normally.
I'm thinking of making custom ones, but if anybody has found some nice (cheap?) aftermarket ones that would be easier. I want them to be close to stock size, mount VERY securely, and have good traction.

3A Racing makes some nice ones for cheap i think they were like 20 bucks for the set and they offer good grip and mount very nice and tight i've had them for 2 years and never had a problem with my feet slipping off
to add to this post, does anyone know if honda still carries the stock rubber pads for the crx or where you can buy them?
back in the day i bought some generic aluminum petals with a rubber insert in them. they absolutely suck, they didn't match up at all and were very hard to install. very slipery
i have been looking at a set of isotta ones, they look the nicest and have the best rubber ive seen on petals.

i could be wrong, but at the glances ive takin at my dads accord pedals and my friends EG pedals they all look to be the same size, so i'd think you could get them off a civic or sumthin if you cant find any EF pads
Be carefull with them(aftermarket pedals in general), I had a set, and the bolt punctured my floor carpet, causing the gas pedal to be floored. I almost crashed! I was lucky I have a rev limiter. Ryan

Since the stock Honda pedals (for Civics and CRXs anyway) have massive metal brackets, you cannt actually drill them and still consider them to be solid (for safety reasons). Just get the strap/slap ons, add some double-sided adhesive or straping between the pedals and the covers, and then bolt them down. Get a nice big set of pliers and cut off the ends of the bolts sticking out underneath the pedals. You're done!!!

The screws they include with those pedal covers are always too long, at one point i couldnt press my gas pedal down all the way, the screws got caught up on my carpeting and made the gas pedal stick, and ive also had one come apart while driving and i went to press the clutch in and couldn't because the cover was hanging off and got caught underneath the pedal. I'll just buy the new rubber boots from now on.

Yeah, this is what I was going to say, just throw some grip tape on there and call 'er good
...and when it wears down, just put some more on!
