Good idea. First off, I read through quick style so probably missed some, but you didn't follow the manual
When measuring for the shim, you are supposed to bolt the case down to torque spec around the diff
Also alot more info on reassembly needed.

That washer with the tang under the top bearing on the input shaft KEY
. I didn't see, but you should also recommend replacement of parts like the interlock KEY and only like $13.
Reusing the diff bearings is probably not the best to recommend either. I have seen very few that were good enough to reuse them, and they can be destroyed easily when removing them.
