well the buttons on my vafc are stickin, so that i can't depress the buttons. I can't even get them to depress if its cold outside, if its warm i can depress them but they tend to stick making adjustments almost impossible. the screen will flicker between the previous screen and the one i'm trying to access. I'm at the point where i'm considering buying a new one.

But before i do i want to know if i could possibly fix this by taking the vafc apart and try adjusting the buttons. also how do i go about taking the case apart and are there any precautions i should take?
