I have been doing some research and it looks like the front component speakers and the rear speakers are supposed to be 6.5". But when I took them out they look like they're only 5.25". Has anyone here with the 4th gen Prelude changed out their speakers, if so, what size speakers did you put. Also, how did you connect the front components (Where was the tweeter and mid-bass split). Thanks for your help!

 

i put a mb quart componet dsd 216 6 1/2 in mine and have shitty 6 1/2 Jensen coaxils in the rear deck(they were there when i bought the car). I have a jl 300/4 running both the quart's and a 12 polk momo 2124 sub. When my friend and i did this we disconnected the tweeter behind the grill thing in the front beside speedo and placed them at the end of all the power switches(mine is after the pass. side window button) The crossovers fit behind the door so i just put them back their hidden. This might be alot of work for some but it is night and day difference in sound!! Trust me
