b16 to a d16a6

Default b16 to a d16a6

how hard would it be to swap my b16a1 obd0 motor and tranny for a d16a6 crx si motor. will i need the si motor,tranny,axels,and ecu is that it, also will the ecu plug right in since it's already ob0. i know why would i swap a b16 for a d16a6 well i got a chance to make some 2000 bucks for the b16 swap and i want to to try to build up a d seris mini me motor.

Shouldn't be hard at all. Did you use a mount kit or were the mounts welded?

well se i bought the car with the b16 swap. th e mounts looks like they some kind of factory mounts i don't think it's a aftermarket mount kit. so everything i listed above is all i need to swap it in? i don't need the factory si wiring harness do i?

If it was done "OL SKOOL SPECIAL" then they welded in New mounts. It's possible, but takes a lot of work.

I know this is off topic, but...why exactly do you wanna ditch a B16 for a D16?

i just wanaa try to build a d series. plus d sereies **** is so cheap compared to b series if break parts and stuff
