Body roll on 93 ex accord 2door?
Anyone know of stiffer sway bars or a good spring set up? I'm using Tokico blue shocks, and Tokico 1.2 drop springs, BUT I still have a lot of body roll.
I happen to have a 93 coupe too.
Get your *** a strut bar.
It is DAY AND NIGHT.
shocks and srpings are not the way to go to get rid of the body roll.
That chassis flexes too much.
I put in one tower front strut.
WOW.
I'm on stock shocks and springs and body roll reduced DRAMATICALLY.
get a strut.

Sorry bro... strut bars don't do much if anything...Ask anyone that really knows suspension. They'll tell you to wait on struts and tell you to grab sway bars. Get sways like the others said. I've got ST sways on my 4th gen. And GOOD spring setup with good shocks will prevent body roll as well. As long as the spring rates are stiff enough. Another mod you might want to think of for body roll would be getting polyurethane bushings. Strut bars and tie bars would prob be the last suspension mod you would want to get.

a good suspension setup will have everything from springs/shocks to sway bars, to strut tower and lower braces...if you wanna go ***** to the wall then a roll cage and seam welded chassis is the next step...

Well you are entitled to your opinion.
But I have modded suspension on a few hondas and struts help alot.
I even took struts out of a few hondas for kicks.
Body roll city.
firm suspension is good, but chassis flex is the cause of body roll.
considering the price of a strut, it is the cheapest option to gain a considerable reduction in body roll.

just to clarify for others, i believe he means strut "bars" and not struts as in shocks

body flex only contributes a small amount to body roll if any...when you turn all your weight is transferred to the outter side of the car which causes your springs to compress...if you get stiffer springs and good shocks it will reduce body roll...swaybars will help even greater but too big of a bar will cause a loss in traction
strut bars and tie bars only reduce chassis flex keeping the body more stable
