WTH, saw an ef9 with jdm side moldings and possibly sideskirts, how is this be possible?
I was driving on the 215, and saw behind me a white hatchback. "Wow, that's a REALLY clean hatchback," i thought to myself. Besides for that, they weren't teenagers or anything, it was an old man who obviously bikes because he had a bike rack mounted on the roof. When he drove by, i didn't suspect anything, so i let it pass.
It wasn't until that it was in front of me that i saw that the side moldings had the jdm indent on them, all around the car! And i am pretty sure i saw the side skirts on the car as well!
But, as for anything else, like the jdm rear lip, i couldn't tell because it all happened so fast.
If i wasn't headed to work, i would have followed the guy, haha.

he could have bought it...you can still buy both sideskirts and molding from honda...(not US)
But the weird thing is that he was ollllddd. Since it was in such nice condition, i have a feeling he was the first owner as well.
But do you have any links to places where you could buy that stuff?

jdm side mouldings are simply 88-89 civic side mouldings. nothing special. did it have a jdm front end?
Really, they're from the 88-89? Coulda sworn i haven't seen that indent on them before. But, no, it didn't have the jdm front, if it did i would have noticed from the beginning. It was the first thing i looked for when i saw it in the rearview
just because your old doesnt mean you cant own a civic hatch/crx...i know plenty of "old" people around by me that own crx's...

My princeple from HS (now retired) has a 91 Dx he picked up (new in 91) because he knew it was the last year they'd be made. He said if he sells it, he'll give me a call first

Yeah, found a few threads on it. It was an 88-89 hb, not a 90-91 as i thought.
