so im installing a Tach on my DX, i got it all mounted, and wired for the light and stuff, but i have no idea where the tach lead is.... it says to the negative wire on the ignition coil. but i thoguht there would just be a tach lead somewhere in the dash? help please!!!!

 

the blue wire that has a black rubber plug on the drive side shock tower. you can splice into that for your tach. signal.

 

look at the drivers side of the firewall. there are 2 plugs to the left of the prop lever for the hood right along the firewall. there is a single blue wire alone on one plug. that is a tach wire.

 

so it is just one single wire, on one single plug? cause i didn;t see it, i saw a few plugs, and there were like 2 blue wires, one with a gray stripe and one with a white one, they were right next to each other. i wish somebody had a pic or something.
