thanks a lot for the help guys. finished the mpfi swap and the car wouldn't start, found out why fairly quickly, there are two identical wire going to the distributor plug white in color, i swithched them around and it fired right up. the thing is, my car runs kinda rough now. i've been trying to install an after market fuel rail while doing the mpfi swap, but gas keeps leaking in various places on the rail. should i just leave the stock rail on? any ideas on why my car is running rough? again thanks for all the help.

 

Leave the stock one on until you get your car running right..

 

yua the aftermarket one prolly doesnt fit correctly making vacumm leak into your fuel area. make sure you repolkace the little dougnut ring things on the fuel rail so when you screw it down its at the right hiehgt to seal everything up, also new injector o rings couldnt hurt.

ok took off the new fuel rail and put on the stock one. all new injector rings and seals. no more gas leak, but the car still runs like ****. it idles ok however as soon as i give it gas it almost seems to bog down before speeding up. any one else aver have this problem? no codes from the ecu either. ????????????????
