Default Which cam profile to go with?

Ok after swapping out my 98 B16B Civic R motor with a 96 B18C JDM ITR I did not notice that much power difference. What I did notice was that the cams on the B16B motor was way more powerful and it pulled much harder at high rpms. But the B18C R motor had a more straight forward power bandwith through all the rpms.

I am thinking of changing out my intake cam on my B18C R for a Skunk 2 stage 1 cam. Some of the guys I talked to said I should go with stage 2 instead. But it was to my understanding that Stage 2 was too aggressive for a stock setup even on an R. But people are saying I should'nt have a problem with stage 2 and that I should do that instead...

So which cams? My choices are Civic Type R cams, Skunk 2 stage 1, Skunk 2 stage 2... any help here?
