According to Newman it'll be done in a few weeks.
But it's going to be fiberglass i think.

Last I talked with Newman, he mentioned the abs spoon lips are coming sometime in Feb. I want one so i can run brake ducting

 

you should get a c/f lip unless you want a cheap one to paint.
i'm prolly gonna go with a c/f one on my white car looks good

Heh, one off track run for me and CF go KABOOM. ABS can survive my driver noobness.

 

a few weeks, yeah right, i have been checking with jdmshit for months now and they keep telling a few more weeks. i just talked to them about a week ago and they said the begining of feb. i called them again yesterday and now its the end of feb. at this rate they might have them by aug.

I talked with newman a couple times over the last few months. The response I got was early this new year, Feb was the estimate. I didn't get any "next week" estimates.

 

the above link is not the right lip... there have been a few of these threads and everytime the subject gets brought up the reply usually seems to be a few weeks from jdmshit. so, i'm banking on them not coming out for a long time. hopefully someone proves me wrong.

 

This may sound like a dumb *** ? but what side does the top of a mugen sit on? I thought it went into the grill area, but the one on the soul racing sight looks like it is mounted on the bottom side of the bumper cover. Or is this something of choice.

imo. spoon lip are ugly. they are to big n hang to damn low. makes ur car look uneven. well on and eg. but thats just me.

 

I think most of the mugen ones wrap onto the middle part of the bumper.

We're talking about the material that the lip is made of. Carbon fiber looks great but it breaks easy and is expensive. ABS plastic is a lot more durable and cheaper.

Stuff comes up, things get delayed, projects need to be completed, etc, etc, etc. Still expecting to see something (prototype) sometime in February and when we do, it'll be test fitted on one of our shop cars and numerous pictures will be taken. Once it gets our OK, we'll then sell them but want to make sure everything is cool first, like all of the stuff we sell - we always test fit the items first and take pics so people can get a real-world, 1st-hand experience response about a particular part.

Don't worry.... the same day we get ahold of them, the same day I'll take pics of it and have it uploaded onto H-T to give everyone a preview

 

Yay i know we are talking about what it is made of, but did not want to start another thead. Looked at the photos again and it was an accord lip that mounts to the bottom. Just thought it looked cleaner.
