I bought my crx with 292k miles on it a month ago for 500 bucks.The car basically runs on 3 cylinders,i was planning too scrap the engine anyways.The transmission is good and the body is decent,but i have access too a free d16z6 head and intake manifold.I was wondering what kind of pistons would be ideal for all motor car, car will only be used at the strip and maybe a weekend dragster.I heard d16a1 pistons will put me at about 12.5-1 compression.Also what should i do too prep the block for the long haul?Should i smooth out the cylinders?Anything you can think of?

 

also will d16 rods fit into a a d15b2? I can get a good deal of pm7 pistons new rings and rods for 30 bucks.Will these work in the d15b2 with the d16z6 head?
