*STOLEN*...At Church!...Burried under snow!...with NO CLUTCH!!!
I have a 1990 Plymouth Laser Turbo that I just bought at an auction....70,000 miles, engine and turbo were perfect. It was gonna be my 400 horespower DSM monster. While I was driving it, the clutch went out.
I just happened to be close to my church, so I pushed it there. It had been sitting for a few weeks and i was gonna have teh clutch put in this weekend until...........IT WAS STOLENLast Sunday I was bowling at Great Lakes Naval base with some friends at church. We go bowling every Sunday as a church activity. Since only certain people/cars have the authority to get into the base, we decided to leave our cars at the chapel and ride with our navy friend in his van. When we get back at around 8 pm, my Hatchbacks alarm is going off. I though it was no big thing since its pretty sensitive.....The Laser is still there
I get to practice the following Monday at 7pm and its GONE. I asked around and nobody saw it that morning....so it happened between sunday at 8pm and monday at 7am.
The thing is that it was parked at CHURCH...right next to the pastoral house, was burried in snow and you couldn't even drive it out....which means you would have to push it around the snow hill and out the front gates. I mean, how desperate do you have to be??????
to some Desperate thieves in Waukegan, Illinois
damn thats rough, 70k and a good turbo could have turned out sick....
thieves are desperate as ****....
my question, why did you leave it at the church for a couple weeks?

LoL that shizz was tizzowed hahaha
that's what you GET for leaving it for WEEKS!!!
you shoulda known better man. If I was the pastor I'd have had that pile towed too...

Everyone knew it was ours and I had permission from the minister to keep it there. Nobody at church would do anything to it without letting us know....Plus I asked EVERYONE and they don't know what happened to it.
The reason why it was sitting there so long is we were waiting for the ACT clutch to come in....which came a couple days ago
I thought it would be safe...we do have a fence. I didn't think someone would have the nerve to go all the way in back of Gods territory and walk out the front with it.
I though it was towed too, but the minister didn't hear any trucks and there were piles of snow around it. You'd have to first push it out of the ice and around the snow hills to get it anywhere...Im thinkin they probably towed it once they pushed it out the front.

That sucks...
But, I'm really sick of these posts in here, sorry to be a dick.
Not only is this the Civic tech forum, not Plymouth Laser...
But has nothing relivant.
Anyway, I hope it turns up, wait, I've grown num to it and I don't really care.
My two cents.

I don't think that's a very fair assumption

Were you planning on replacing the clutch in the church parking lot, while it's freezing cold...my guess is probably not! You should have had it towed back to your house the next day after the clutch went out, you would have been towing it eventually. Leaving the car sitting for week after week in the same spot not moving in a parking lot, it's sad to say, but I'd almost expect it to be at least fucked with by some neighborhood kids.
