My car has a phillips kit but the bulb has to be taped in becaue it won't lock into the stock headlight clips? Just wondering what kind of bulbs I need to make this work right so they lock in. Im not to fond of the tape. Let me know if you have any info?

 

I believe its a 9006 but not positive.

Do you know any other cars that came factory with hid that would take the same bulb as the civics? Im just thinkin it might be cheaper that way to just grap some out of a junk yard or something

 

'99-00 Civics use 9004 bulbs. I am 102% positive.

civics use h4's it has been that way since 92. Theres a retor kit you can purchase online to make you kit fit in the h4 housing.

 

h4 fits in the 99-00 civic headlight's, did you buy the car with the HID's on there allready, it sounds like you have a OEM kit on there, or the wrong bulb size with the kit, if its OEM casper electronics makes a sheild to fit in the h4 housing

yea I bought the car with them on there, There don't lock into the housing the same way the factory bulbs do. You have to like tape them in pace wich IM not to hot about. Id just like to get some bulbs that will lock into the housing
