Eibach Springs w/ Koni Yellow Adjustables
Is anybody running this setup...Sportlines or Pro kits. What's your opinion on them, are they better than a full coilover setup like APEX'i N1, Tanabe Sustec Pro SS etc. Also, is it true that it lowers it 3/4 of an inch too...
Thanks in advance.

if i had to do it all over again, i'd go with a complete damper set up like apexi coil overs. it costs about the same. or the koni coilover set up.
I heard H&R Stage 2 are better than Eibach. Although H&R may require a camber kit for its 1.75 inch drop.
For a bargain adjustable setup, H&R/KYB AGX is a good setup, pay $200 for Koni Yellow is even better.

I consider Eibach and H&R to be two of the top Spring Companies
both of them make streetable high performance suspension parts
can't go wrong either way.
a full coilover system is the best though
fully adjustable and it emptys your wallet for some time]
with the price of KONI's being 500 a set
and a pair of springs 200-300 your close to a price of full coilovers
get them. Since you got a type R, you dont' want to DISRUPT its
handling.

500 for the koni's and 150 for the sportlines, (not 200-300). Total of 650 versus koni coilovers for about 850. If you are talking about even higher end coilovers like zeal, tein and so on you're looking at least 1200-1500, which is alot more than the 650.
If you don't auto-x the full coilovers aren't worth it.
And you aren't going to ruin your car by going with lowering springs, just because it's a Type-R. It'll handle better, but at the cost of lowered ride height. I swear some people act like Honda sprinkled some magic pixie dust on ITR parts...
If you want to keep your stock ride height but want stiffer springs, I believe Eibach makes some non progressive springs.
