In a short distance drag who do you think would when a yamaha banshee or a crvtec in a hatch?

 

The hell kind of question is that. Depending on how short it is, no matter what the banshee, with proper tires, would get the hole shot. Stock banshees are pretty weak but my buddy has a 90hp one

 

get that race on film.......

stock banshee will go mid 15 in 1/4....yes the banshee will blow away the crvtec until the banshee hits 4th probably and by that time the crvtec will be arund the end of 2nd.......just my opinion...here is a speed test of my buddies banshee...it only made it to 4th gear and it was less then a 1/4 miles distance....lol well its not a real speed test but you get the idea

they me be weak..but they are still the fastest stock drag quad...with the yfz450 right next to it

So you are telling me that any banshee will win a drag against a crvtec no matter what the distance? If you really think that, i dont know what you have been smokin. I know a stock banshee wouldnt take a crvtec in a longer distance race and i think it would be close in a 1/8 mile race. Just to let you know your buddys 90hp banshee is slow compared to the sand dragster im building.

Nope? What do you think would happen?

Personally I think the Banshee would jump out a bit until he hit about 50-60mph, then the car would take over.

 

thats what i have seen......sometimes sooner then 50.....the shee will get the jump and it will be a big jump......its really hard to say exactly whats going to happen...but the car will take over near the end of 2nd gear..which will probably be around 4th gear for the shee...

im going to really try to get video for you guys....i have the friends with banshees and i have the friends with the cars....

we have dragged our 01 banshee (pipes, rejet, and some other stuff) against a 260whp 10psi 00 si, the banshee was owning until it ran out of gearing.

 

which is 3rd gear for the car probably.....????

we raced a 01 banshee vs a 97 turbo eclipse and gave the eclipse the jump and beat him by 4 cars all the way to about 65 mph the banshee has pipes jets and kn filter

 

lower end of 3rd yes

PLANKTON is going to be the one with the banshee..we are going to shoot for today....just need to find the car and the road that is dry.....

i would think that the banshee would be ahead until it reaches 70 then the car would be able to catch up fast and win. I will have to race my friends car after i fix the banshee.

got it backwards bro...........if you can show me proof i will change my thought...but ive seen plenty of drag races and know what beat whats stock for stock

sorry but your wrong, i have a stock 03 predator and my friend has a stock 04 banshee and i beat him every time we have raced

 

man congrats on the win.......and you did win......but if he could ride a little bit better you would see what would really happen......dont base something just cause you have raced your friend and assume they are all like that........im not downing you or doubting you....i believe you won but the pred is not faster then a banshee stock for stock......


it also depends on what kind of conditions your racing in.......if your racing on pavment banshee is faster.....grass/dirt banshee will probably lose but only cause it spins but give it a little more room and it will pass you


you have your own opinion...but im basing my opinion offseeing alot of races between preds and banshees

Banshee this, Banshee that....what about the LT500R (aka: Quadzilla)....you boys ever riddin OR raced one of those?

 

ive seen a few in in my time.........but dont know anyone who has one or have i ever rode one.......talk about a pos quad...its a beast when it works......
