i just got a '90 crx dx with a DOHC ZC motor in it.. and i need to get a smog in order to change over names.. does anyone know if it will pass?

This is going to sound like a real strange recommendation, but here goes;

Have your mother bring in the car to a smog check station. That way, if they have any questions she can just say that she doesn't know (she would be telling the truth) and leave it up to them. If you bring it in, they will expect that you know what it's history is.

kind of OT but....
i tend to use the "mom excuse" in other situations.

for instance: say i smoke some dude at the races (wich has happened oft times before), and he's all like "DoOoOod, whats done to that yO?!?!?!?!?." i'll be like, "I DUNNO, it's my mom's car. you should see the looks on their faces.

Im from the east so i don't really have to worry about all that smog junk but emissions sucks... anyway why don't you guys just disconnect your hood latch before you go to the smog station and just say that its broken and you haven't had time to fix it or something..........
