I have a CF hood on my car that I wish to 'correct.' In other words, the sides of the hood protrude higher than the fenders on both sides by maybe 1/4". I have hood pins on order because I don't trust the hood right now in terms of remaining in place at higher speeds. Now, I have no experience with hood pins and I understand their function is essentially to keep a hood in place. Can they also be used to "pull" a hood down? I hope to level the sides of the hood with the fenders.
