Place Racing Crossmember & ground clearance issue?
Just wondering if anyone has had any problems with the pR x-member hitting the ground.... My 91 si hatch is lowered approx 2" inchs at the most 2.5" inchs...
People using this x-member can u please post pictures of the front of your car showing the clearance of the x-member to the ground.
Thanks.
Also, For installing the PR x-member.... Do i need to cut anything, i was told i had to cut some of the radiator support out.. Dunno how true that is....... Please clear that up for me. thanks
I have a Aftermarket front cross member with the bars connecting to the tie rods for added support, although its not PR it hangs low and it scrapes on lots of things, my car is probably lowered 2-2.5 in the front and i scrape on low speed bumps and all, it helps traction out alot but it still spins like hell with the b18 powering it

my friend had the pr crossmember and its pretty low...especially cuz he likes to put his car to the earth...anyways i was looking at it the other day and i noticed that his hedder hanged lower than the front crossmember(DC 4-1) ..so he put his car back up to almost stalk height and thats how it stands

I had to answer that one, it was too good to ignore.
Oh about the 2 O2 sensors on the SiR one is in fron of cat on manifold the second is just after the cat. I know because I am swapping from a SiR half cut, and have that portion of the exhaust system on it.
