Ive got some small things such as a wire from my StreetGlow Underbody neon kit that has a wire that on the install manual is supposed to go right to the battery. How do you guys attach these wires to your battery. I went to radioshack and looked around, couldnt figure it out I guess

 

their is probably a nice place in the fuse block that has some smaller connectors that you could tap from. Otherwise you can get the good clamps and do it from thos distribution blocks.

 

find out which wire is ground and which is 12 volts. be sure to add a fuse to the 12 volt wire cause if you short the wires theres a pretty good chance that your going to catch your car on fire...connect the ground to eaither the ground on the battery or ground it to the car...the 12 volt wire can be connect to the fuse box, or directly to the battery. be sure to test everythign with a multimeter.

 

When you say connect to the fuse box, what exactly do you mean?

I know grounds and everything and how to do them. Power wires and were to tap is what stumbles me

 

under the hood...theyre should be a fuse box, and theyre are like either 2 10mm screws or 2 phillips crews that you can unscrew and bolt a wire up to. you'll see it cause connected to those screws theres a stock wire that runs to the 12v side of the battery.

Thats where i tapped into for my amps.

 

hmmm, I think I know where the fuse block is, so I take it off and Ill see a wire that goes from there to my + side of the battery. I can tap into that?

A nice polished or plated terminal block looks good on top of a battery. They have a combination of small and large provisions for wire. Look into it!

basically you can use one of the smaller fittings to put a bunch of little wires into instead of one big one.
