Default Nardi hub slightly loose problem...

Just installed the Nardi Steering Wheel and it is just a taste loose at the hub. Anyone familiar with this problem?

Make sure that the big nut for the steering spline is tight all the way down. Also check the small hex bolts on the hub/wheel.

What he said. I mean, is there play fore and aft or side to side? If it's side to side and the hex nuts are tight, dunno what to say 'cept the hub might be crap. Fore and aft might be what yellow blur mentioned.

IIRC, the nut for the spline is a self locking one that technically should've been replaced instead of reused. But I used Loctite blue to make sure that bugger doesn't back out on me.

I wasn't aware that you had to replace that nut. I just reused mine when I changed my wheel out. Yeah the thought of the side to side play crossed my mind. I didn't want to say that his hub might be **** without actually seeing it. But you took the words right out of my mouth, if you have side to side play, there isn't much else that could go wrong except for the hub being junk.

There is no side to side or front to back slack. The "slop" occurs when you push against the top, bottom, or any side--resulting in a small displacement in the direction of the push.

Odd. My HKB hub doesn't deflect at all. At least, to be noticable.

I'm sorry. What was that again? Oh yeah, you have the same hub too, right?
