Default Buy a new clutchmasters disc and use old cm pressure plate?

Im running a CM stage 4 that is starting to slip from wear. Its worked out great but im going to be using a stage 3 next for several reasons.

I can get a stage 3 disc for only $150 and save $300 (to go toward an LSD) by reusing the pressure plate from the stage 4 which supposedly is the same.

CM told me to send them my old PP and they would measure the feelers and do whatever to make it work with the stage 3 disc. (But who knows how much downtime 6-8 weeks or more)

I was thinking just to skip this step, to avoid down time, and maybe just have it resurfaced and put it back on. OR I could buy a new CM 3 kit and have two PPs then just buy a new disc whenever one wears out.

Problem is I dont know if the PP wears that much after one time and wont work as well as a new one.

pp should be ok..

of course you will want to inspect it for damage...

most clutch manufacturers will check it out for you for free, but that means more down time..

I have reused my act extreme pp before, I just had them inspect it each time
