are they setup differently? or is mine just not mounted right. the body metal peice that holds you radio ect. does meet and bolt up with the floor, wtf?

it's possible they are different. the guage cluster and it's housing are different.

 

i have everything from it the guage cluster, all the interior wiring is 90 si

 

i don't know about the center frame. i just know the clusters are different. i got an 88 cluster in a 91. it fit but there is a gap

 

where the cluster sits is different.

They will bolt into each other but the main difference is the curves. If you need a dash I have a 91 hb dash gray one that I dont really need. Comes with all wiring too.

ill goto the junkyard and get a 89 dash

 

both dashes are similar but different. the hb mounts similar but the metal frame for the center console is slightly different. Along with around the dash cluster. I would use everything from the donor car to make it fit right. The center consoles share some differences because the on the crx the center console tapers over the shifter unlike the civic. It will bolt up the same but you will have that wierd gap on the floor.
