Stock seats vs. Si Seats
Quick question: Would you get rid of your 2000 CX seats for 2000 Si seats? Are the Si seats that much better than stock?
I was interested in making a purchase, but I haven't ridden in an Si before so I don't really have a point of reference. Thanks in advance.
I'm no longer looking at the Si seats. I've moved on to either Integra (Black from a 98 for $150) or Del Sols (Black and Grey Stripe for $100 a piece, however, I don't know the year...I read that they need to be 94+ to bolt into a 2000 cx.) Will 94+ bolt right in? Any experienced responses would be welcomed.

As far as I know, the seats are exactly the same with the only differences being different fabric, and headrests.
They are just as uncomfortable and unsupportive as your CX seats, don't buy them.

Thanks for the response...
I'm trying to buy stock seats for autocross, so that I won't be bumped out of my class for having aftermarket seats. I'm trying to find some stock seats that will hold me in and these Si seats are going for a good price. More responses please!!

They just look better. IMHO civic Si seats suck ***. My old 92-95 civic seats are more supportive and comfortable.
If you are looking for a stock supportive seat, go with integra cloth or ITR seats.
I love my cloth integra seats.

As an SI owner, i suggest you do not get SI seats unless you want couches that sit up too freakin' high...got rid of mine and put in some 4th gen prelude, a whole lot better for huggin and for looks.

Thanks...i just might pass. I looked at the picture and took some pics of my seats a minute ago and I don't really see a difference myself.

they're more adjustable than regular civic seats. the bottom section can be adjusted up and down. thats about the only difference along with the headreasts. i'd rather spend the money on ITR seats or something aftermarket.

If I went with the Integra seats would I just need to swap the rails with my stock rails? ditto for Del Sols?

Thanks!
I am not a fan of the si seats or the basic joints. Both of them sit too high and don't provide any kind of support. I would go with the del sols

Everyone seems to like the Del Sol seats...so here it is:
Del Sol or Integra?
Please, cast your vote...
[By the way, I just found a good deal on some Black Integra seats from off a 98']

i've got del sols in my ek
prepare for some bloody knuckles when swapping the rails
also prepare to adjust your mirrors
how tall are you?
my girl is short, and when she gets in my ek with the del sols, she can barely see over the wheel
definitely worth it
