Rings w/JE Pistons? Already gapped or no?

Rings w/JE Pistons? Already gapped or no?

I just bought a set of JE SRP's and I wondered if the rings they come with are pre-gapped for the pistons or not??

The rings are gapped for the bore, not so much the pistons.

Put the rings square in the bore and use a feeler gauge to check.

use the piston to push the rings into the bore so its square, just thought I would add that

honestly I wouldn't trust the factory gap, check them anyways it only takes 5-10 minutes and may save your engine
