Does anyone know if Mugen ever made a kit for the Del Sol, I saw a pic in a old magazine that supposedly had a Mugen bumper, but I have never seen the parts anywhere else before. Does anyone have the kit on their Del Sol?
I'll assume you're talking about this one:

Its a mugen front bumper, but there have also been imitations. Like this one:

Made by Techno-R...but one of those japanese knock-offs that fit like ****. I've looked all over for the actualy mugen one, but haven't been able to find it.

go to http://www.Kingmotorsports.com and look in there...they have all the Mugen goodies that your little nOOb hear desires...
the one with the aux's is a fake, the real mugen doesn't have them. If you can find a real one it's going to cost a whole lot, but the fake ones can approach the price of the real one if you take the time to fill the holes and get it painted. crxsol at automotive tech has a real one, and a Mugen B16B N1 engine... and a whole slew of other mugen parts....

Mugen DID make a front bumper, well front bumper cover if you want to get technical, but they did NOT make a rear, just a lip I believe. And you are correct about the sides
Edit: Proof of a real mugen bumper cover, taken from Hater's cardomain site --->

i meant for the sol. i thought i read somewhere that those front bumpers were fakes, or mugen didnt really make those. i dont know, i think they still look good, fake or not.

Mugen stopped making the del Sol kit in 97 when they discontinued the Sol.
Good luck finding authentic parts. I got my sideskirts from king, paid cash, new in box from 1993.. They came Milano Red. The front bumper unfortunately is not authentic, but it is a direct mold from the real deal. Curve for curve, molding for molding, hole for hole authentic as replica can be. It's the only thing on the car that's 'replca' simply because the authentic piece is discontinued and highly unavailable.
I do however now know where 1 authentic bumper is located, which one of my buddies is picking up for his Sol for more than I was willing to pay.
Mugen never made a rear bumper, skirt, or anything for the rear. They don't make rear skirts or kits for 90% of their aero kits. They are all fiberglass, with some specific pieces being carbon fiber.
My car is as Mugen del Sol as it possibly can be. I have an authentic Mugen wing on it's way as well.

Any idea where the replica can be purchased? Also, do you have any pics of the Mugen Wing on your car?
