Default question about spring rates...I searched...I searched long...

I'm trying to learn about spring rates and stuff like that to improve the handling and ride of my civic. I pretty much understand most of it, like progressive and linear spring rates. My question is as follows:

If you adjustable coilovers, does the spring rates change when you adjust the ride height or is it the same spring rate no matter how much you lower or raise the springs?

You should ask this same question in the "Road Racing/Autocross" forum. They'd be able to help you out. I know because I asked a similar question and got some very helpful responses.
