my friend just bought a new hatch and we are both mechanically challenged but I need help. His idle is suging and I know it is the O2 sensor. I need to know how to hook up the O2 i havent really looked at it yet but i thought it was just a wire connecting to the bung. Please help me out if you can.

 

Why do you say its the O2?

Could be a

1) vacuum leak
2) idle motor not operating correctly
3) improperly adjusted throttle cable
