New picture taken tonight appears to be authenic. opinions??

it's supposed to be off a 2000 type r........

 

is this a jdm type r head, if it is it has a green marking near the distributor area

 

Besides the water neck being closer to the front than b16 and R heads (look at the photos on the integra thread, the water neck on the b16 is toward the back), take a peek at the head between the vtec solenoid and the distributor. If it is a GSR head it will be stamped p72, . Is it supposed to be JDM? later gen JDM heads don have a vtec pressure switch ( the green one under the solenoid.). although the solenoids are interchangable. Be cautious about this one..This pic is a GSR head.

 

what does the casting say?
show us the exhaust side with all the numbers
or you can tell where the intake runners enter the combustion chamber

 

usually on that side of the head, you can tell the differences. if you get a ITR head and a GSR head together, you can tell a difference. i would help you out, but i got a broken leg and cant walk out to my car to look. but i might have some pics. hold on

edit.. this is a 00 ITR head (the green marking was taken off by the head porter, but you can still see a little bit of it)

 

also Type R heads... i beleive one of them is a JDM..

just ignore the butt.

my head also has PR3-4 on it. but that side pic you posted first just doesnt add up. get him to take a top view pic of where the dist. is to see if the green marking is there.

 

first pic was not of the head to be purchased. He apparently had some pics on his comp and mistook the gsr head for the one to be purchased. The first pic can be disregarded, I want to know about the new picture.......

 

lots of b16 and ITR heads have PR3-4 on them. you need more pics of the head.

 

i have jdm itr head if u need it.

 

if you are curious about your buyer, id drop that sale, and buy from the guy above.. he will never screw you over, and you dont even need to make a thread asking if its an ITR head.

 

I've heard great things about B18c1 above, and will most likely be doing business with him. I sent the money order to the wrong postal code so apparently the parcel is coming back to me.
