Caravaning up to the Expo I'm sure will be a lot more fun than riding solo.

Are there any of you in GA and the surrounding areas that are interested in riding up to Summit Point together? What day were you guys planning on heading up there?

I know the Trek is a bit longer for you FL guys, but I'm sure myself and other GAITR owners would love to meet up with you guys on the way up. The more the merrier. I live about 45mins outside of Atlanta.

Let's get this organized.

 

I'll be leaving either sometime thursday after work or Friday morning. I can only take two days off from work... those being Friday and Monday.

 

I'm sure a lot of the FL we-todds are meeting in Charlotte to burn that town down beforehand. Atleast that's what we did before Expo 3. It's an 8-9 hour drive to Charlotte from Central Florida then I'm assuming another 5 or so to Summit. Charlotte would be a good meeting spot. Ken? Sean? ATL kR3w?

 

Yup, more than likely crash in NC... then head up to the Expo. Downtown Charlotte wasn't too bad last time. Gotta get Rob to show us around again. lol. Chris & Big Money D know what I'm talking about.

 

So what'd you guys do? Drive up to Charlotte Thursday night, and roll out Friday morning?

My Mom lives about 20mins outside of downtown Charlotte and offered her house to me and my friends. I think I may drive up there Thursday night, eat some good home cooked food and roll out Friday morning with you guys.

Isnt it June 5th and 6th?? Im pretty sure thats when it is. Does anybody know by when do you have to register and pay??

All righty, here's what I think me and some GA guys are going to do.

Roll out Thursday during the day and go to my mom's in Charlotte.
Stay the night, and leave early Friday morning to head to the track.
My Mom said she will give whomever a place to stay, but she only has so many couches/beds. First come, First serve.

Anyone need a place to stay Thursday night? Let me know.

I'm beginning to think that the simple solution of a Drag III kit, Hondata/bigger injectors and a stock bottom end might work well when running 5-10 psi.

Here's the plan ColonCurrency and I just discussed..


FL crew drives to Marc's on tuesday night (no, Marc doesn't know this yet).
FL crew leaves Marc's in the morning and drives straight to charlotte.
Wednesday Night = Charlotte beaver, beer and jack in the box madness.
Thursday Day = Same as above and maybe ColonCurrency's cam install @ P1
Thursday Night = Same as above but ending earlier...
"Early" (ie morning) Friday, drive to WV (I have to be there semi-early for obvious reasons)
Sat/Sun: Exbl0w 4
Monday-Tuesday: Drive back to FL.

If you have a problem with that, I don't really care. Honest.
