Hi guys,

I am looking at buying Zigen 4-2-1 header for the Type-R, want to know if anyone had try that before and whether u would suggest getting it.

I have one and I think it's great. Reasonably priced and the performance is very noticeable.

I know that it probably doesn't mean much without a baseline pull, but I did get 170.7whp and 123.1tq with just that header in my R (2.5" inlet cat and stock exhaust, no tuning, no change in timing):

edit: My header is JDM spec with 2.5" collector.

They're another basic JDM tuner header...nothing great, but still gains over stock.

 

I am runnin it on my gsr, I had to make a custom test pipe because it was longer than stock, but I really like it, pulls alot harder than stock, mid-high revs feel really good, but the test pipe plays in a little I am sure

 

Ive run them on a few motors and loved them. Very affordable. They have a 2 1/4" outlet which is a nice compromise between stock and JDM models. I can get you a nice deal on one if your interested. Please IM me, i have them in stock.

I believe Yoshi did/does run one.

yup used to run one until today, so it's for sale

yshi - who will have a few more items for sale soon as 234 is going back to kinda-sorta stock
