yes you do
a strut bar attaches to either the two bolts(studs) that hold your shock in or if you are going to use a integra strut bar there are two holes that are plugged with rubber on the very top of the shock tower

thanks for wasting bandwidth
some civics have the holes plugged, others (like mine) just have the indentions for the holes so I will have to drill them out if I were to get a strut bar.

I know this is from yesterday and i actually read it yesterday too, but its funny cause i was just looking at my freinds eg engine bay not two days ago. Anyways i bought a Type R strut bar for my civic and gave my old si bar to my friend with the eg. We didnt know if it would fit or not though. So i after holding up the bar to his shock towers it was clearly too long, but then I noticed those little rubber doohickies....and yes they come out and yes you can put your bar there. Werd!!!!!!!!

wrong all 92-93 civic's come with pre-drilled holes with rubber plugs. 94-95 civic's were all sealed.</TD></TR></TABLE>
Not exactly, since my old 92 hatchback was sealed, the 92 coupe at the shop has plugs, the 93 hatch at the shop has plugs, and the 95 hatch at the shop has plugs. All depends with model, year, and what country it originated from (US, Canada, whatever).
Regardless if your car is sealed or has plugs..... no biggy. Just take a drill and drill it out if you want to, if your car is sealed. FYI, the "ITR/DC Integra/whatever" strut tower bars fit the same on both the EG's and the EK's in the same location.
