Polk Momo's are cheap and so are Infinity Kappa series.

pioneers are pretty nice. but not great if your looking for just fill. these had multiple tweeters, they sound nice, but not great for everyone's application.

Don't know how much they are, but I just put some Cerwin Vega 3 ways in an 00 SI and they sound awesome.

Try ebay... Pioneer's 6x9 are very good for the price in my experience.

Get the Infinity Kappa 693.5i if you are looking for an excellent sounding speaker. I used to have a 12" sub in my car but I took it out.
1. because Im not a bass fanatic
2. to save weight, fata$$
3. the lows that these speakers put out are excellent, at least as far as 6x9's go!
If you are looking for 20hz then get a sub but if you are looking for quick acting low notes (not bass notes) then get these speakers. I highly recommend them!!

the best 6x9 are the boston RM9. It's like a boston pro in a 6x9.
