Went to the junk yard today.
I got an o2 sensor of an a6 because my a6 is givin me a Code 1
so i went to swap them and they look different.
my car seems just as powerful when i have the CEL
if i put the new one in... is it gonna change performance
and even tho they look different do you think that they will work

I'm not exactly sure. i got the car with it in there. the one on my car now is thin
and the one that i pulled off the junker is like 1/2 inch wide.

well i was at the junk yard. just gettin other stuff like gauge clusters and tail lights
and i saw the civic si. some dudes were takin the block but the left the header lyin there
so i just snagged the sensor to get rid of the light.
if i put the new one in there do you think that my car will run better?

**** i forgot. the fucknut who had the car before put an integra exhaust on the car. so the o2 don't fit
so if nebody has a teggy o2 and wants to trade for a d16a6 o2 i will be glad to!!

Ummm, what do u mean somebody put on a teggy exhaust?? The exhaust manifold for a teggy will not fit on a D16A6, and i believe the 90-91 teggy O2 sensor is the same for the 88-91 Civics, as long as its the single wire version (thats why i say 90-91 teggy).
i believe the pre90's kinda fit.... thats what i was told by the guys at the muff shop
because i was having problems with the header seperating from the down pipe
they said thats because i have a teggy exhaust
ok here is my problem
the o2 sensor that i got at the yard has too big threads
my header has a smaller hole by about a mm
