*Ive Searched* My Hids wont fit where bulb goes in Projector HELP!
Hey guys I searched on the archive about this. But i bought the 9006 HID Phillips and teh plastic part where the bulb is attached wont fit in the projector... Is there something I have to screw of or anything. Anyone had this experience!?
umm.. depending on what kit you got. if it's rebased for 9006 setup then it should be plug-and-play. when i installed mine the base fit fine.
you may have to fabricate your own template in order to make it fit. just asking, where did you buy your kit from?

Those capsules aren't 9006 based. You're going to have to modify them or (better yet) sell them and purchase capsules with 9006 bases.

If you were specifically told that they were 9006-based capsules (which I doubt), then yes, you were misinformed.

It is 9006 based, and I had it on my R. I bought this kit from visualdynamics.com (trevor)

I stand corrected. I didn't see a sealing O-ring and failed to look closely enough at them.

My friend has a prelude and bought hids and on preludes there is a metal clip that helps hold in the bulb, we just bent it a little to hold in the new bulb, I know there is no such clip on integra's but you might try something like that. also, (not taking sides) but I thought that 9006 bulbs were bent at a 90 degree angle where the plug goes onto. I would sell them and buy another kit. I have the xenon and am happy.

FYI-we talked over the phone, and he figured it out how to put it and the HID is installed...so IT IS A 9006! and it WILL FIT into Integra!!!
