Default Hooking up VAFC in my 90 si hatch, does my wiring harness have the vtec wire?

i have a 90 civic si hatch, with y8 head:

I hooked up all the wires according to the Apexi manual, and it shows a vtec wire on my harness going to the ecu, so i spliced into it. Where does the wire come out at in the engine compartment? has anyone incountered this? Would it be easier just to run a new wire? I hooked up the controller and my case pressure, throttle response, rpm, all work, so im sure i got it hooked up right. Well if anyone can help that would be great, and i did a SEARCH and came up with nothing. Here is a pic tell me if this is the right wiring diagram.

I dont think your stock harness should have a vtec wire in the pin. I remember when i wired in mine there wasnt a wire in there, thats why on my conversion harness i had to ru the vtec wires. Are you sure you wired the correct wire, you shouldnt have a wire in teh vtec pin.

well first off what ecu are you using? second if its the stock ecu, you will have to run all the vtec wires. i just finished my mini me swap and had to wire in my vtec wires. the vtec output should be hooked up straight to the vtec solenoid. pressure switch will not be wired. vtec input will not be wired on the vafc. hope it helps.

Well im running a 89 teg ecu, but stock wiring harness, and on the big plug (far left) it is the 4th wire from the left on the bottom row, and in my VAFC manual it says that this wire is the Vtec wire. It is yellow with red stripes on it, all my other pins are working, and im putting the head on tomorrow so i guess i will see if it works. I wouldnt think it would have one, but the wire is in that pin, i triple checked it. Well if anyone else has any info it would be greatly apprieciated, thanks
