What's the point?

It would be far cheaper to simply buy a WRX, or even an EVO for that matter.

Word. An AWD rsx might get you oos and aas, but behind your back people will more likely say what a DUMBASS he just spent 40 grand on a rsx and makin it AWD. 40 grand = many different stock awd cars + mods. I could see it being "original" but are you willing to spend a whole car's worth of money on "being original"

??? You have to be nuts to do convert the RSX to AWD....

you know much extra weight the 4WD drive train will add to a car that is very weight sensitive??

As well, I dont think the *small* increase in handling will be worth the extra weight....

AWD would be the cure for a big power RSX...the 550hp K series turbo motors

FWD has a limit with respect to applying torque to the front wheels while steering.

Me personally I would invest in an Elise and drop a K20a into that and possibly turbo if traction wasnt bad at the 250whp NA point....400-500 turbo hp with two 215-225 size tires is gonna have alot of wheel spin.

An MR RSX would be alot easier and prove to be an awesome handling machine with the proper suspension setup.....but why not buy an EK and do that first? An RSX is a little spendy to cut up but to each his own.

I just think Honda owners who want an FR MR platform are severly limited....NSX...great car....$$$$ on parts and not many people drag racing/ seriously modding them....S2000.....weak diff, small motor, heavy car....

So I understand the desire but logically MR is easier with Hondas due to drivetrain layout with proven trannies. The CRV setup to go AWD isnt proven nor are the other alternative drivetrains simply because not many people are doing it.

In the end its your money and your project. Good luck and send us the pics
