How do ya know if your strut"mounts" are bad?

How do ya know if your strut"mounts" are bad?

I replaced my front struts because of a clicking noise in the front end. I did NOT replace the mounts though.Still have the noise(I think it's worse now). Could the mounts be a source on noise even though they LOOK fine?

clicking ? Sounds more like a CV shaft issue.

CV is most likely where the clicking is coming from. Or check to make sure that your struts are secure
