Default Throttle Body

I'm looking into taking off my throttle body, or just getting a bigger one... That way I can get as much air as possible. Are there any mods any of you know of to assist me with this? The other option is a 90mm throttle body. Are there any good websites that I can find one at?

You can get a throttle body at most performance shops, just make sure to buy one for your specific intake manifold. Hey sicivic.. how far are you with the minime?? Im about 65% done, i also have a 89 civic si. Hey do you know if there should be one or two dowel pins (holding the head gasket) in the block?? What are you gonna do with the distributor? im just thinking of using some big washers to hold it in place.

i did a mini-me. there are 2 pins. then i got my z6 head it didnt have any, so i had to pull out the one in the old head. it was a big pain in the ***. but u should use both pins just to insure that the gasket doesnt move.

Damn, 90mm!!!You def. do not need that. At 287 whp with my d16a6 turbo I used a 58 mm with now obvious problems....

Past 62 mm you prob will NOT need, and those remanufactured overbored ones have idling probs, stick to Honda parts whenever possible as you will not be sorry.

I have a JG overbore (64mm) on my b16a and idling SUCKS!! So I got an ITR TB coming from http://www.thepartstrader.com

Please disregard this post. I think that I left my account open on a computer and one of my friends made this post. SiRJKwIcK89Ef, as of right now, my car is sitting outside with the old head off and the block cleaned of the old head gasket. I'm about to put the Z6 head on. There are two dowel pins that hold the head on. Make sure you use both of them! I having really thought about the distributor yet. Let me know what you do about your's. Peace

If you can get a Y8 head- your stock distributor BOLTS right up.

By the way- the dowel pins can be bought at your dealer- they are not really for holding the headgasket but to keep the head from moving laterally on the block. They are VERY important.
