What size rotor?
What is the size of the front rotors on the JDM 1996 spec 4x114.3 Integra Type R?
I've heard that they are smaller than the 1997+ spec. Are they bigger than the GSR setup?
US spec ITR:
F: 11.2
R: 10.3
JDM 96 spec:
F: ??
R: ??
US spec GSR
F: 10.3
R: 9.2
reason im asking is because im wondering if they are the same size as the GSR, and if the Spoon twin block caliper will fit the GSR setup.

ITR front rotors are 282mm, and that is 11,1" And I beleive the 96 spec R has 262mm front discs.

jdm 96 spec itr is basically gsr brake system w/ 4x114.3 lug pattern rather then the 4x100.
Same size master cyl, brakes, and all.
Hope that helps.

thank you very much for your helpful replies
if the 96 spec setup is the GSR brake system with a 4 x 114.3 pattern... will the Spoon twin block Caliper system work in them? I've noticed that Spoon makes 2 versions of their calipers. a mono block (which fits the 5 lug only) and a twin block which Spoon does not really specify but a DC2 and EG6 model. they werent clear on whether the DC2 was the GSR or ITR and what years they are compatible with. the EG6 designation just threw me off...because that is a Civic chassis. i've never seen a civic run spoon calipers unless it did the ITR 5 lug conversion.

The monoblock Spoon caliper is a universal model, with bracket kits available for AP1, DC5 and EP3. The twin block is available in two versions for either the DC2R or the EK9. Only difference is they are meant for different disc sizes, the Civic type R has the same brake system as a 96 spec R i beleive so i they should be a bolt on for a GSR.

hmm... i always thought the CTR (EK9) had the same setup as the 97+ spec ITR (5x114.3) brakes. i've never seen a CTR with 4x114.3 brakes. i could be wrong.
so if i get the twin block setup...it should bolt onto my GSR brakes?
