Default Speaker fitment for those that WANT to know

I asked in a topic a few days ago, if anyone knew if the front door speaker holder things were the same for CRX, 4D, and Hatches, and no one seemed to know. I had alot of trouble trying to put my speakers in without them.

I went to the junkyard today and pulled them from a 4d and they fit perfectly. There was a CRX there too and it had the same speaker mount thingy. So for those in need of them (like my sorry a$$ car was) your CAN use the 4d, CRX, or Hatch ones.

Got them for a whopping $5. My new speaker's magnets was still too big (audiobahn 6.5's 100 watt rms) but I found some nice pioneers to fit it though. HOLLA!!

not really, because I have some out of my Prelude (6.5's) It will not line up, so saying almost any is not true. I am saying if anyone is looking for them, factory wise, they can get them from those 4th gen/2nd gen cars.

whatever dude, no need to try and start a arguement about it. I was just posting for those that wanted to know. I was just sharing what I KNOW will work. If others work thats cool. I just didn't want anyone to be mislead.

I see you took my advice, found out for yourself, AND it only cost you $5. See I knew you had it in you.
