Default are your wiper arms loose????

with the wipers all the way down on the windshield, I can manually move them up about 2"! I'm pretty sure that other cars don't do that but with my EF going fast, the wind moves them up about 2" up. Sooo anoying.

How do I fix this?
I did check the wiper motor and it seems to be ok.
TIA

take off the cowl, pull out the linkage, and check the bushings.

did you check to see if the arms are worn or loose? The armhave little grooves in them that line up to ridges on the studs.

Yes, if they move that much it means the bushings on the linkage arms are shot.
And the arms need to be replaced. I've done this a couple of times on 2g tegs it's not that bad. But it is a PITA. You have to replace the whole arms, you can't just replace the bushings, because honda doesn't sell them seperately.
