Default tein coilovers

Some of you may remember about 1 month ago, I bought some cheap *** coilovers from ebay.

I regret getting these cheap coilovers. My car is sitting uneven. The rear end is higher then my front. I tried to even it out by making the front higher a little bit but being the cheap coilovers they are....it is a pain in the *** to adjust the height. It is very hard to spin the perches to desire height because the springs arent loose. And when the perches do spin, the sleeves spins with it...The front is sitting too low. ..i scrape going over speed bumps. (I have no bodykits or lips...) so heres my question..

Who has the tein Basic Coilovers? Is the TEIN Basic Coilver setup easy to adjust the height? Can it be adjust to stock height? I Dont race, autocross or anything. I just use the car to go school and work. What are your opinons on these coilovers?
tein basics $650 plus shipping sounds good for new shocks and coilover. Yes they are still from ebay but the seller seems legitimate. You guys think I should buy these since Im in the market for new shocks anyway? I know Ive shouldve contributed that money I bought on the cheap coilovers to some TEINS in the first place. That is why I regret it.

Btw..will this be a good replacement for my stock shocks which is going to blow soon?

i dont have any personal experience, but they had a discussion about the tein's about a month's time ago... like 90% of the people loved them but some had their negative opinions also... but those do look adjustable, and i bet they will be ALOT better than a cheap ebay product... its a actual coilover kit not a sleeved type... looks like a good price too... gluck.

i have heard some mixed reactions about tein on here, but overall they seem to be the ****. ground control coils are very good as well---and i think they are in the same ballpark price wise as the basic tein setup. remember i said i think....

not sure of your model/year etc, but this might give you some heads up and/or trouble shooting if you go with the tein setup....

Personally, The Teins is a nice suspension system for the price that you pay. The only thing I do not like about them is their soft spring rates. They are good for street driving for not good for racing or spirited driving. I ended up getting new Tein springs with higher spring rates for my Tein SS setup. Right now the ride is stiffer but better handling performance.

I've had the Tein SS coilovers on for just about 2years now and I love them. My car is a daily driver that I use to carve up the backroads on the weekends and I got exactally what I was looking. good street handling and a ride that is not to harsh.(close to stock) I believe gettobuddha has the basics and he loves them. you won't go wrong with the basics or the Apex coilovers. both are a good choice.

duh...... .....but the shocks are a wee bit stiffer than stock.....and unless ur into hard core autocross, adjustablety of damper is rarely used.....coilovers are best in teh snow belt, so u can raise that ***** up when winter comes
